Baby banks

Baby banks give families free clothes, nappies, prams, cots and more. Find one near you, or pass on things your baby has outgrown.

We look up your postcode with postcodes.io to find places near you. It's remembered on this device only, never saved to your account.

How to get help from a baby bank

Most baby banks need a referral from someone who works with your family, such as your midwife, health visitor, GP, social worker or a family support worker. Some let you contact them directly.

Just ask at your next appointment: "Can you refer me to a baby bank?"

Other ways to get things free or cheap

  • Freegle: a charity where people give away things they don't need, including prams and cots.
  • Olio: an app for free food and household items from neighbours.
  • NCT Nearly New Sales: around 400 sales a year of second-hand baby kit at low prices.
